To the Wind from Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny Abilities Overall, she is a kind-hearted character, and thus is aligned with good characters. She has an ability to read the wind, often taking advice from it, as well as asking the wind to guide her in her journey. She often does not blame others for their actions, as shown in her SCIV ending where she forgives Algol for his actions, and sometimes will resurrect dead characters who were close to certain other characters, as shown in the same ending where she resurrects Algol's son, Arcturus. Her comments often reveal self-doubt and worry. Talim is strikingly meek, innocent, kind, moderate, and nice in contrast to the rest of the Soul Series cast, often attempting to dissuade opponents from fighting, and constantly showing mercy to her defeated enemies. Her signature Elbow Blades, and the features listed above, are Talim's most iconic traits in the means of character design and have stayed with her throughout the entire series. The youthful priestess was initially created to add variety to the current selection of fighters, a selfless, young girl - something that the creators felt that the series lacked. Soulcalibur IVAmy's Ending is the same as Raphael Sorel's: Raphael and his servants reach Soul Calibur, Raphael lifts it and eliminates his servants with Soul Calibur, claiming that the world is only for him and Amy now that he has Soul Calibur.Įxcept (Exclusive to Amy's Ending), this time, Amy comes from behind him, witnessing Raphael needlessly killing his servants, she pushes Raphael (who is maniacally laughing) into the abyss next to where he found Soul Calibur, with a "Ring Out!" appearing in front of the screen, while Amy grins evilly.Ī message then comes up, saying that Raphael and Amy found their ideal world.Talim's young frame and tribal accessories has produced a unique, pure fullness to the Soul character roster - which was fully intended. The noises and lights became louder and brighter. However in time the soldiers returned, but Raphael did not. He traveled outside of the castle, and the noises made by the soldiers ceased. Raphael told Amy that he would be gone for a while. It was not long before troops began to gather. She traveled with Raphael to the castle which he brought in Romania. As someone who had never opened her heart to the world, it was now even more impossible than ever before due to her appearance. This made things even more difficult for Amy. They felt powerful by night, but weak and sluggish during the day. They both became pale and their eyes burned a blood red. Raphael later told her that although he emerged from the battle victorious, his wounds had been infected with the evil of Soul Edge, and that by handling his blood while taking care of him, she too had been infected. In Soul Calibur III when Raphael returned back from his battle with Nightmare, it was Amy that nursed him slowly back to health. Raphael felt that he was now in a debt to Amy for saving his life, and to show his gratitude adopted Amy as his very own daughter. She hid Raphael Sorel from the authorities who were chasing him, simply out of spite for the soldiers. Amy starts out in Soul Calibur II as a poor girl who becomes an orphan upon the death of her parents, who died from the plague which spread across Europe during this time period.
